Abstract

This article aims to present the design of a context-aware distributed system for monitoring patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. This work intends to propose an architectural design as an alternative to the existing monitoring solutions, taking the main advantages of context-aware software and distributed systems to support the proposed monitoring system. As a result, we have a guided design by tools, techniques, and technologies like microservices, distributed logs and domain-driven design, among others. Also, the article describes a simple prototype with the functionalities that could be implemented by this design.
