Design of a storage tank of heating water, using inexpensive materials
Keywords:
Thermal insulation, ASME, Heat transfer, Pressure vesselAbstract
This article describes the process of design and construction of a storage tank hot water (DHW) for domestic consumption is presented. In addition, mathematical analysis is described, theselection of materials for both insulation and the body of the tank, hydrostatic simulation behavior, the construction process based on ASME Section VIII and testing operation.Tests were performed to evaluate the efficiency in maintenance of the temperature and currently continues with additional tests to better observe the performance of the tank.
