Calentador solar ecológico automatizado con base en botellas PET

Resumen

El artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos en la elaboración de un prototipo de calentador solar automatizado. Es un sistema de calentamiento solar para agua, con base en recirculación natural y 100% ecológico. Utiliza una serie de tubos construidos con botellas PET reutilizadas, capaces de captar los rayos del sol, provocando en su interior un efecto invernadero, mediante el cual el calor generado es absorbido por el agua de todo el sistema, sin necesidad de utilizar ningún tipo de combustible. Mediante la teoría del cuerpo negro y varias propiedades de la física óptica, se logra que el agua conserve gran parte del calor que se absorbe con el sol durante el día. El agua incrementa su temperatura hasta unos 45-50°C
